Terra-cotta Soldiers
The terra-cotta soldiers were made to protect the first Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi in the after life. There were 6000 life-size figures. Archeologists have not found two of any of them that are the same. They were designed to be only the emperor in the afterlife. 1400 more soldiers were found in nearby chambers.

They were manufactured in workshops by government labors and craftsmen. Everything was created separately and made a realistic appearance. They had tools, precious jewels, and rare objects. They were made of pure terra cotta. They all had facial features that were unique. They vary I height, uniform, and hairstyle. Their original weapons were stolen and they used to have color but now it has faded away.

If you were wondering how they were discovered as here is your answer. They were discovered as archers, soldiers, chariot drivers, and horses.
